Terhi 450 Sloep is unsinkable and has an extremely stable hull, making it a safe choice for boaters of any age. As all Terhi boats, the Terhi 450 Sloep also utilizes the unique Terhi dual hull construction. Two separate sheets of ABS plastic are vacuum-formed under high pressure and extreme temperature to form an inner and outer hull. These two hulls are then combined, and the void in-between the hulls is sprayed full of water non-absorbing polyurethane foam that glues the two hulls tightly together. The foam acts as floatation, provides torsional rigidity, and simultaneously also reduces hull-borne noise. This construction method makes the Terhi boats not only durable, stronger and better looking, but also unsinkable and extremely safe.
